Fixing the EngView/Adobe Illustrator Integration after Adobe Illustrator 27.1 Update

Adobe has recently updated Adobe Illustrator to its Version 27.1. This update prevents the correct functioning of the integration between EngView and Adobe Illustrator. To be able to continue your work with the integration, EngView has released special patch files that you need to install.

In the list that follows, download the file or files that correspond to your EngView version, install them, and then start using the integration.

Version 7

Version 7.3

• Windows users: Go to the EngView Downloads page, download the Packaging_Suite_Patch_x64_7.3.0-7.3.24.exe patch file, and install it.
• macOS users: Go to the EngView Downloads page, download the EngView Packaging Suite 7.3.24.1588.dmg setup file, and install it.

Versions 7.0 and 7.1

Windows

• Go to the EngView Downloads page, download the Packaging_Suite_Setup_x64_7.3.24.exe setup file, and then install it.

macOS

• Go to the EngView Downloads page, download the EngView Packaging Suite 7.3.24.1588.dmg setup file, and then install it.

Version 8

IMPORTANT: To fix the integration, make sure you work with Version 8.1.7 (Win and macOS). Upgrade to this version if yours is earlier.

Windows

• Go to the EngView Downloads page, download the Packaging_Suite_Setup_x64_8.1.11.exe file, and then install it.

macOS

• Go to the EngView Downloads page, download the EngView Packaging Suite 8.1.11.2553.dmg setup file, and then install it.
