Advanced Layout Optimizer

We’ve completely reworked the Layout module to deliver smarter and more practical optimization for real production environments - especially for corrugated packaging.

The new Layout Optimizer goes beyond sheet size. It takes into account the entire manufacturing workflow, including both converting equipment and corrugators. Manufacturers can define the specific production capabilities for each machine to optimize layouts based on real-world conditions.

The new optimization workflow also improves corrugator efficiency by considering how the material is produced and cut into sheets. It minimizes waste at the corrugator by selecting the most suitable corrugating roll widths for each job.

In addition, each one-up design now includes a suggested production workflow with a predefined layout, guiding the producer toward the most efficient manufacturing approach.

This dual optimization ensures better material usage, improved machine efficiency, and more accurate production planning.

Gluing Area Definition

Defining gluing areas is now faster, easier, and more reliable.

You can create and adjust gluing areas directly in both 2D and 3D. The system automatically applies the correct offset based on the panel size, while you simply select the panel to be glued. To prevent errors, the software automatically excludes invalid panel options, guiding you to the one correct choice every time.

With the 3D folded view and the step-by-step folding sequence, it’s easy to verify that you’ve chosen the correct panel and the correct side - eliminating guesswork.

Once defined, the gluing area is automatically replicated on the appropriate side of the panel, ensuring accuracy and saving time.

Library Visibility

Finding the right design is now faster and more focused.

You can choose which standards to display in the library directly from Preferences, allowing you to filter designs based on the material you are working with. This reduces clutter and helps you quickly access only the most relevant templates.

The same applies to the components library, providing a cleaner, more efficient workspace tailored to your needs.
