Augmented Reality in EngView Package & Display Designer
Just in time for Drupa, we are excited to announce the release of the latest version 2024.1.8 of EngView Package & Display Designer, now featuring Augmented Reality (AR). We implemented this fantastic new functionality in EngView Shared Space to streamline the customer approval process. So far, designers could share with end customers and team members the live 3D model of the final structure with the graphics, finishing effects, and animation of the folding sequence, which could also be exported in video format. Now, what customers can do more with the 3D model is visualize how their packaging or display will look in the real environment they are in. Using the camera on their smartphone or tablet, they can place the 3D model in the store where the final product will be sold, on the actual shelf it will be displayed on. It gives end customers the most realistic experience they can have before they approve the design for production. The Augmented Reality feature works on both Android and iOS devices. You can install the new version from the EngView website and start using Augmented Reality right now! If you're attending Drupa next week, be sure to stop by our booth C12 in Hall 7A for a live demonstration of the AR feature and all our new improvements and optimization innovations across all EngView products.Read MorePACKZ Version 10 Adds Live Connectivity to EngView Packagе & Display Designer

We’re looking forward to a long and successful partnership and continued innovation on behalf of our mutual customers.” Boriana Stoimenova, Head of the Packaging Division at EngView Systems, comments on the integration between EngView Package & Display Designer and Hybrid’s PACKZ: “As two leading companies, committed to providing high-quality innovative solutions for the packaging industry, sharing the same customer-oriented values, it’s the natural progression for EngView and Hybrid to form an alliance. This collaboration aims to empower our customers by automating the packaging design and production processes. It will significantly improve their efficiency and reduce the time-to-market.
