Setting the base panel

By default, while a 3D folding sequence is being generated, EngView detects the largest panel in the design and sets it as base panel. This panel is static — that is, it is involved in no folding actions. If, for presentation purposes, a folding sequence needs to have a different base panel, you can set this new base panel.

To set a base panel

1. Do any of the following:

• On the 3D Presenter toolbar, click the Set Base Panel .
• On the Tools menu, point to 3D Presenter, and then click Set Base Panel.

2. In the graphical area, click the panel that you want to be base.

In the tabular area, the Base panel is indicated by a cross-hatch-pattern symbol in the Panel Name column.
