The 3D work environment: Layers, articles and finishing effects
In this tab, you can apply the articles and finishing effects created
for the 3D model, and inspect the visual impact they give the model.
NOTE: This panel lists the parameters of the design
that is active in the 3D model area.
This drop-down lists contains the 3D parts that take part in
the assembled 3D model. When you select a part in the list, the
part is highlighted in the 3D model area. You can then start working
on the part by applying articles to it.
This drop-down lists contains the articles created for the
model's parts. When you have selected a part, you can begin applying
articles to it and review their visual impact. Learn more about
how to create articles.
This table lists the finishing effect-carrying layers that
have been added to the article. In the table, you can switch on
and off effects and inspect their visual impact. Learn more about
how to create finishing
effects.
This section displays properties applicable to the process
that you see in the Process column. You can use the controls to
alter the apearance of the applied effect.
