Dimensioning angles
- Do any of the following:
- On the Dimensions toolbar, click Associative Dimension
.
- On the Dimensions menu, click Two Objects.
- Click consecutively the two lines that form the angle that you want to dimension.
A sample image of the dimension line appears that follows the movement of the pointer.
- (Optional) To make the dimension-line text centered, ensure that Centered Text
is pressed in.
- Click where you want the dimension line to be.
Notes
- If two nonparallel lines do not intersect on the screen, the would-be angle between them is detected and dimensioned. For example, to dimension the angle that defines a chamfer, click the two lines neighboring the chamfer line.
- In the graphical area, to show the existing dimensions, right-click in a blank space, and then check Show Dimensions on the context menu.
- To set general dimension options, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Dimensions tab.
