Notes
- The toolbar buttons for the modes for drawing
of elliptical arcs —

— are visible one at a time on the . To switch between modes, click the currently
visible button and drag to the button you want to use.
- To cancel the current drawing mode, press ESC,
or right-click in the graphical area, and then click Cancel Mode
on the context menu.
- During drawing or repositioning an elliptical
arc, when in the contextual edit bar you enter a value in one of the
edit boxes (Primary/Secondary radius, or Angle, or Start/End
point while drawing, or Dx/Dy while repositioning), and then
move to the next edit box, the scope of the elliptical arc preview
is limited according to the specified value. Consider the following
example:
If you place the first (center) point of an elliptical
arc defined by center and radii, enter a value of 20 mm for Primary
radius, and then press TAB to move to the Angle edit box, when
you point to define the location of the end point of the Primary
radius, you see a preview of the elliptical arc with the 20 degree primary
radius. To drag the object preview freely again, in the respective edit
box enter 0.00, and then press TAB to move to the next edit box. NOTE: The zero-value rule applies to distance values
only. You can use it to define relative Dx and Dy values
in all contextual edit bars.
