Deleting materials

1. On the Format menu, point to Materials Catalog, and then click Main Catalog.

The Material Catalog dialog box appears.

2. Select the material that you want to delete, and then click Delete. Either one of two situations will follow:

• EngView prompts you to confirm the deletion. When you confirm, the material will be deleted from the catalog.
• If the material you want to delete is the default for a certain type, before deleting it you must reset the default material for this type.

The Delete Default Material dialog box appears.

3. In the drop-down list, select a new default material for the type, and then click OK.
