Working with parameter templates

In this page, you manage parameter templates. These are sets of functions and properties that carry the properties and corrections that are characteristic of materials. By default, each EngView installations comes with four parameter templates: two for corrugated board (in inches and millimeters) and two for folding carton (in inches and millimeters).

In this pane, you can:

• Add parameter templates (.par files) to your installation.
• Create a parameter template from scratch.
• Delete parameter templates. See details about how to reassign existing selection types and functions when deleting a parameter template.
• Copy templates: You select an existing template and make a copy of it. You can then proceed with editing the template. You can use the copying technique to saves much time creating a new template.
• Edit templates:. You select a template and start to edit its selection types, functions and default parameters.
