Saving CAM templates

1. In the tabular area, click the default template list, and then select a CAM template. This loads the template.

The CAM template appears in the tabular area.

NOTE: If the tabular area is not visible, to make it visible, on the View menu, check Tables.

2. Save the edited CAM template: in the tabular area, right-click anywhere in any of the CAMTools or ToolFilters tabs, and then click Save template on the context menu.

The Save Template dialog box appears.

3. Consider the following situations:

• To save the edited template under a new name and keep the original template, click the Save as new template option, and then type a name for the edited template.
• To overwrite the current template, click the Overwrite existing option.

NOTE: When you create a CAM drawing, EngView loads the most recently used CAM template by default.
