The changes that you make to Master Canvas 1ups may cause them to assume positions across the graphical area that result in visual clutter or make it difficult to work with the 1ups. This topic describes two actions that you can use to rearrange how 1ups sit across the graphical area and make the entire setup easy on the eye.
You may find yourself in a situation in which 1ups sit too close to each other in the graphical area. This usually happens when you have resized some or all of them and their new dimensions have caused ovelaps, either partial or complete. In such situations, to get a better view of the 1ups, you can tell EngView to add some space between the 1ups and thus move them away from each other.
You can do this a single click, as follows:
To adds space between 1ups that sit too close to each other
The following images display a drawing with 1ups that are too close to each other and overlap and then the same drawing after the Disperse 1ups command has been applied.
The 1ups are too close to each other or overlap.
After the command has been applied, space is added between the 1ups moving them away from each other. Their spatial positions have not chaged.
If you want to view the 1ups lined up in a straight line at a set distance from each other, you can tell EngView to align them along the 0x. In doing this, the program adds a set distance between each two 1ups.
To line up 1ups along the 0x
NOTE: The space that EngView adds between the 1ups is around 10 percent of the width of the widest 1up in the group.
The following images display a drawing with randomly positioned 1ups and then the same drawing after the Line Up 1ups command has been applied.
The 1ups are scattered randomly across the graphical area.
After the command has been applied, the 1ups are aligned horizontally along the 0x with some breathing space between them.
