The front stripper is the tool that removes the waste from the dieboard's frontal area after the rest of the waste on the dieboard has been removed. This is the final step of waste stripping.
To generate front stripper
The Stripping Dies Generation Options dialog box appears.
The Front Stripper Options dialog box appears.
Upper Front Stripper Generation Types Sets how the front stripper will be generated.
Contour style Sets the style of the upper front stripper contour. To change the style, click Edit, and then, in the Filled Contour Pattern dialog box, edit the style as you want it.
Generate left/right by design Defines the front stripper offset in relation to the die knives endmost vertical cutting knives.
Generate left/right by sheet Defines the front stripper in relation to the layout sheet (the example below has offset=0).
Offset (Generate by sheet option only) Sets an offset for the front stripper along the sheet.
Place Chase Holes Sets the placement of chase holes across the front stripper.
Template Sets a chase holes template. To load a template, click the down arrow, and then select a template from the list that appears.
Offset Sets an offset for the chase holes against the front stripper contour.
Number of holes Sets how many chase holes will be placed on the front stripper.
NOTE: The number of the actual chase holes depends on the offset restrictions.
Contour style Sets a style in which the front stripper will be generated.
