Stripping support tools are additional instruments to the stripping dies, such as wooden bars or an additional piece for a front stripper.
To define stripping support tools
The Stripping Support Tools dialog box appears.
Rule The type of the rule. Types may be component (Comp) or style (Style). NOTE: Selecting the check box means that such an object will be created in the target drawing.
Search In The name of the stripping drawing in which the object will be searched for.
Search For The object — component or an object in a particular stye — which will be sought for in the drawing set in the Search In column.
Target The name of the drawing into which the object will be created.
Add The name of the component that will be created into the drawing from the Target column.
Count The number of objects to be created.
Add Rule Opens a dialog box in which you create a new support rule.
Delete Rule Deletes a rule that is selected.
The Support Creation Rule dialog box appears.
Search in Sets the stripping die drawing in which the target components/objects in particular styles will be searched for.
Component rule Indicates that a component will be search for.
Search for The name of the component to be searched for.
Add as Sets the component to be created.
Opens a dialog box in which you can choose a component other than the ones available in the default set.
Edit Opens a dialog box in which you can edit parameters of the component.
Style rule Indicates that an object in a particular style will be searched for.
Search for The name of the object style to be searched for.
Copy as Sets the style in which the objects will be copied in the target drawing.
Affected objects (Read-only) The number of found objects in the specified style.
Target drawing The name of the drawing to which the objects will be created. If such a drawing is unavailable, it will be created.
Copy count Sets how many times the components/found objects will be copied.
