Phase I. Creating custom properties on the CAM machine
NOTE: A clean EngView installation loads the property zund.cuttingmode.cut, which comes from ZUND machines. If you choose to activate a ZUND machine for your work, this property becomes visible in the Material Types table. To use this property, it is not enough to simply edit it in the Materials catalog. You will also need to edit the respective CAM template (see Phase II below).

Phase II. Editing CAM template
Phase III. Updating the catalog of material types
In the table, you see the properties you have created. Here, you can edit the properties for a particular type of material. This means that the properties will apply to all the materials of this type.
IMPORTANT: The values of the CuttingMode in the Zund Cut Center can be speed, standard or quality. You are restricted to using any of the three.
Phase IV. Extracting material custom properties in the .zcc file
When an .zcc file is generated in the EngView CAM module, the information in these custom properties is extracted in the file.
NOTE: If no ZUND Cutting mode material property has been specified for a material but there is a tool, for which its CuttingMode is set to seek information from the material, then this setting will be retrieved from the zund_ZCC.ncs file as follows:
