New Features

ID Module Problem Description
EVP-14493 Layout Display Nesting Nesting on rolls is now part of the technique for nesting of multipart structures — for example, displays and furniture. With roll nesting, EngView treats the sheet as a roll and nests the parts in a way that allows the part of the sheet that remains unpopulated by parts to be used for future jobs.
EVP-14471 Layout Display Nesting For the purposes of display nesting, you can define presets of the sheets a job normally requires and how parts are grouped on them. You then save the preset and it loads automatically the next time you start setting up a nesting job.
EVP-14448 Export Export 3D You can now export 3D models as animations in the .mp4 file format.

Improvements

EVP-14459 Draftng Startup Drawing You can now choose a default for the type of drawing that EngView will open each time you start a project. You can choose between a 1up drawing and a Master Canvas drawing.
EVP-14456 Layout Multiple Parts When inserting multiple parts into a layout, you can now use a single click to select all the parts that share a material. In multipart projects, this simplifies the selection of parts. The selected parts are then placed in one go.
EVP-14516 CAM No Empty Custom/Machine Properties EngView will not accept empty values for non-numeric properties.
EVP-14520 CAM Toolpath Generation The .ncs script file has been adapted to generate toolpaths for varnish blanket and counterplate drawings.

EVP-14470 Drafting Object Selection Fillets and chamfers can now be selected without involving the Intersect functionality.
EVP-14503 Drafting Dimensions Display Dimensions in the No Show mode now behave identically as all other dimensions.
EVP-14464 Display Nesting Parts Overlap Structure parts nested by the Display Nesting functionality no longer overlap when sent to the final layout.
EVP-14468 CAM NC Generation Generating NC for the Zund S3 XL-1200 machine no longer prompts an error message.
EVP-14451 3D Export to HTML When structures are exported with multiple external objects, the latter are visualized correctly (no longer transparent).
EVP-14462 3D Dialog Box Size You can now resize the Inserted Part Properties dialog box at your convenience.
EVP-14447 Export Viewing External Object When a structure is exported as HTML, the visibility of external objects no longer depends on a particular phase.
EVP-14521 Babylon Export Export Export to babylon of bended base objects is now correct.
EVP-14508 Export to PDF Export Text & Dimensions The UserUnit 10.0 scaling no longer produces extra large text and dimensions.
EVP-14446 Export to PDF Layout Ghost symbols and fills no longer exported.
EVP-14268 AI Integration Scaling The UserUnit 10.0 scaling is now recognized in artboards larger than 200 inches (5080 mm).

Help Updates

EVP-14524 Layout Display Nesting Sheet & Grouping Preset You can now predefine sheet and nesting groups based on a selected material. The preset loads automatically with each new display nesting job and also updates automatically if you choose to modify it while setting up the actual job in the wizard.
EVP-14443 Design Frame Formulas Formula Examples with the objsize formula have been updated to include the drawing to which the formula is applied.
EVP-14392 3D Work Environment The section that takes the user through the 3D module's work environment has been redesigned into separate pages for folding sequence, parts, dimensions, and layers.
