Distribution of objects in the Cutting and Creasing styles in Allow Longer Ends scenarios

The following table shows the effects of the Allow Longer Ends and Start With Cut functionalities and how to use them.

The used pattern is 5 mm x 5 mm; Minimum end is 2.5 mm.

Pattern Description No restrictions are applied to the pattern. This causes it to start and end with a segment in the Creasing style unless the endmost segment is shorter than the Minimum end value — see the last example below. The use of Allow Longer Ends causes the pattern to start and end with a segment in the Creasing style even if the endmost segment is shorter than the Minimum end value — see the last example below. The use of Start With Cut causes the pattern to start and end with a segment in the Cutting style unless the endmost segment is shorter than the Minimum end value — see the last example below. The use of Start With Cut causes the pattern to start and end with a segment in the Cutting style. And because also Allow Longer Ends is applied, this stays valid even if the endmost segment is shorter than the Minimum end value — see the last example below.
