Dimensioning line length

1. Do one of the following:

• On the Dimensions toolbar, click Single Object Dimension .

• On the Dimensions menu, click Single Object.

2. Click the line.

A dimension line appears that follows the mouse pointer.

3. (Optional) To make the dimension-line text centered, ensure that Centered Text is pressed in.
4. Click where you want the dimension line to be.

note: You can set a horizontal or vertical offset distance dimension between the starting and end points of a single line segment.
