Exporting 3D models as GLTF files
Settings Settings about the color and the image
that will make up the file's background.
Artwork quality Sets the level of quality for the image in the
exported file: Low (1K), Medium (2K) or High (4K).
Allow multiple texture coordinates Controls how Prinect will distribute
textures across surfaces of the 3D model — with multiple coordinates or
without them. The decision involves trade-offs and largely depends on
the viewer that will be used for opening the exported file. Consider the
following:
- Selecting the check box. The model is exported with (1)
higher texture quality, (2) viewable finishing effects (emboss, deboss)
and (3) in smaller file size. 3D viewers that reproduce the 3D model
well in this mode of export are, for example, Play Canvas glTF viewer
and Blender.
- Leaving the check box empty. The model is exported with
lower texture quality but with viewable finishing effects (emboss,
deboss). A downside here is that the file size is larger. 3D viewers
that reproduce the 3D model well in this mode of export are, for example,
glTF Viewer and Creators 3D.
