By using the split-with-line clip path conflict resolution you use a line to split the clip path in two. The program then computes an optimal angle between the splitting line and the x-axis, according to the conflict at hand. To determine the best split, you can additionally orient the line at the angle that you find most suitable.
To use line-splitting to resolve clip path conflicts
The program selects the optimal angle between the splitting line and the x-axis.
A choice-selection dialog appears if there are more than one possible splits with the current line (pictured).
The splitting resolution is carried out, and the program takes you to the next conflict.
