Selection types are predefined data units which serve as exclusive data sources for selection parameters. Selection parameters use the predefined selection types and their entries, available in the currently attached parameter template. Selection parameters are much like standard ones except that they use selection type entries, in the form of combo boxes , in their expressions. Of course, if you wish, you may directly enter a new value, thus resizing the design to your special needs. Selection types are created and edited in the Selection Types tab of the Edit Parameter Templates dialog box.
Flutes are predefined selection types used to express material thickness (d).
DimTypes are predefined selection types used to express the dimension type (DT).
FlDirs are predefined selection types used to express the flute direction (FD).
Boolean are predefined selection types used to express whether to use layers (UL). Click in the respective expression field to choose between the two 'boolean' predefined selection entries - "Yes"(use layers) or "No"(do not use layers).
GapDefinition are predefined selection types used to express the score to score gap definition (SSGD).
Score to score gap definition (SSGD) is used only in designs that consist of a body and a lid and only in case the dimension type (DT) is score to score, i.e DT = dtSS = 0.
