Importing WMF/EPS files

How to import files

You can import .wmf and .eps files:

• By double-clicking them.
• By dragging them into Prinect.
• By using the import procedure that follows.

Applying style associations filters

When importing a file, you can choose the styles that you want Prinect to apply to the objects in the imported drawing. You can have Prinect apply the default set of style associations assigned for the .wmf/.eps file format or apply a different set of associations. Here, the import technique matters:

• To use the default style associations, use either the double-click or the dragging technique. They are quicker.
• To use a different set of associations, use the procedure that follows. In it, in Step 3 select the style associations filter that you need.

To import .wmf, .eps files

1. On the File menu, click Import.

The Import File dialog box appears.

2. In Look in, browse to a location, and then select the file you want to import.
3. In Style Associations Filter, select the association scheme that you need.
4. In Layout side, select the side of the design that you want to be facing you after the import.
5. To complete the import, click Finish.
