EngView Webinars for Display Makers
We are happy to announce our new batch of webinars coming in the fall. This time we will go deeper into the structural design process and share some tips and tricks on how to optimize the daily work of packaging and display makers and increase their efficiency. Designing complicated multi-part structures is our forte. We have developed a library of almost 500 POP/POS display and furniture standards, which are parametric and take only a few seconds to resize to the required dimensions. In the webinars, we will go over the various materials and categories of structures in the EngView Library of Displays. We will show you how easy it is to resize and modify a parametric template. Using EngView's integration with Adobe Illustrator, we will apply graphics over each part of a structure. Finally, we will prepare files for production and send them to cutting and printing machines. Graphic art students from the University of Zagreb share their projects with us illustrating how redesigning packaging can help target new market niches. The projects are developed with EngView Package & Display Designer Suite, which helps students create unique packaging structures and apply graphics over the 3D prototype. “It is fascinating to see through the eyes of young designers. Their projects show how packaging design variations are used for targeting specific consumer groups. We are glad we can help students explore their creativity. We are looking forward to expanding our partnerhsips with other educational institutions and donate the our packaging software to more school and universities that teach packagng design“ comments Tsvetelina Nacheva, Marketing Manager at EngView Systems.Read MoreBelgrade Polytechnic becomes an EngView educational partner
Whether the next school year will start in the classrooms, or students will continue to learn remotely is yet to be seen. Despite the difficulties, teachers and students will always find a way towards knowledge and accomplishment. Over the years, the EngView team has donated its software to schools and universities around the world to consistently support the distribution of knowledge and share its progress in the area of structural design of packaging and POP/POS displays. This September, one more school will start teaching packaging design with the help of EngView Package & Display Designer Suite. Students of the Belgrade Academy of Applied Technical Studies will learn how to visualize their ideas and create realistic 3D prototypes with artwork and finishing effects. They will also learn how to optimize designs for production; minimize waste; and produce small, medium, or large orders at cost and time efficiently. With the prospect of the new school year starting remotely, EngView will provide its partners with home-office licenses of the EngView software to ensure an interrupted learning process. If you are a university or a school teaching packaging design, you can become an EngView educational partner and use the EngView Suite for free by filling in this form.Read MoreEngView launches a series of webinars for packaging professionals
Times have changed and we need to come to terms with the idea of a new “normal” way of conducting business, a normal that will be marked by fewer face-to-face meetings, fewer or different type of packaging shows (we will see), more online conference calls, and VR and video presentations. We at EngView understand that despite how much we value personal contact and interaction with our customers and the packaging community. We will continue to add value and remain helpful to the packaging professional in every way we can. This month we are starting a series of webinars for structural and graphical design of packaging and POP/POS displays. We’ll be teaching designers how to save time and optimize day-to-day design and production-related tasks so that they are able to increase their efficiency and competitiveness. We are optimistic that with the lockdown restrictions being lifted in most countries, all business will soon pick up and the packaging sector will quickly recover. Our idea is to help more packaging producers and corrugated converters improve their workflows, save time and prevent accidental errors. In the webinars, we'll be offering them tips about how to automate day-to-day tasks and increase the efficiency of their staffs. We will try to schedule convenient time slots for partners operating in different time zones, the first sessions will be for EMEA, North and South Americas.
