EngView at FASTSIGNS Vendor Show and Convention
Last week our colleague from the US office of EngView Systems, Shawn Kirsch, was in Arlington, Texas for the 2018 OUTSIDE SALES SUMMIT. The event that took place 16 -18 August was organized by FASTSIGNS, the largest graphics and visual communications franchise in North America, growing at a rate of 50 new centers a year. The Summit was a great success for EngView in terms of networking and forming connections with the franchisees. At the EngView booth, Shawn Kirsch did presentations of the EngView software solution for the packaging producers including the desktop CAD/CAM system and the web-to-pack platform - packGATE. “All attendees were eager to learn about the EngView software: how they can optimize their packaging design workflow with EngView Package Designer and grow their online sales with packGATE web-to-pack. Having one on one contact with the attendees and seeing their excitement was very rewarding.” shares Shawn Kirsch, Sales Manager, EngView Systems USA.Read MoreEngView Systems invited at IGAS 2018

Today EngView’s product manager Valentin Vachkov is at the Benelux Online Print Event (#BOPE18) supporting our partner Peter Janssen from Endless Branding. Together, they will be giving practical insights on growing online printing and packaging businesses with packGATE. The event that takes place in Brussels is focused on web-to-print and e-commerce solutions for the graphic sector. Industry professionals will share their experience on launching a web-to-pack solution or just adding a customer interface to your current printing/packaging business. Endless Branding has over 30 years of experience in design and production of point of sale displays from cardboard and corrugated materials as well as wood, plastic and even metal. In recent years the company has started receiving more and more requests for tailored solutions in smaller runs. They needed an online platform for their customers to edit and modify the POS displays and the solution was packGATE – an online packaging platform using the unique parametric technology of the EngView CAD/CAM server. Providing a gallery of parametric structures and simple design-your-own-packaging -or-display functionality, packGATE helps end-customers create their own tailored displays in the desired sizes, graphics and materials. Customers can see the design and structure in a realistic 3D model with the display folding animation. It gives a very good idea of what they will receive at the end. At the same time the producer saves costs from unnecessary and costly test samples. The simple process of designing and ordering packaging online24/7 increases the number of packaging jobs and helps producers put out small- and medium-volume runs cost-efficiently.Read MoreFESPA – the industry networking event
Every year the EngView team joins the Europe’s largest expo for digital print, textile and signage. In Berlin the show was more spacious and lustrous than we’ve seen it before. The new Digital Corrugated Experience Hall shows FESPA is paying special attention to the growing packaging business and pointing out the advantages of the digitalization and automation in the production of packaging and POP displays. The focus of the show continues to be the digital printing and cutting machines that are getting bigger and faster involving less and less human interaction. These machines are of course powered by software like the EngView Package & Display Designer Suite and more manufacturers understand the importance of intuitive content-creation program being part of the complete solution. Bringing the whole industry together makes FESPA the best international networking event for 2018. Our team had a busy schedule trying to meet all partners, distributors and customers within the limited time of the event. OEMs were renegotiated, lost acquaintances were renewed, and new professionals got introduced to the industry. All this and catching up with old friends, introducing new ideas and opportunities for working together.Read More
