3D Presenter saves actions set on panels that are not visible — for example, as a result of an applied condition that controls their visibility. If a panel that is part of a folding sequence is later placed under conditional visibility, the 3D actions applied to this panel remain in the folding sequence, but are not applied, since the panel has become not visible. The actions, however, remain on the list of actions indicating with special cross markings. When visibility for the panel is restored, the markings disappear and the actions are applied.
The markings for hidden panels serve as a visual reminder that panels exist that are currently not visible in the 3D model.
Consider the following example, which takes you through this functionality. We will consider the 3D actions applied to the two arched panels in the central panel.
The visibility of the two arched panels is controlled by the parameter Windows, whose value is set to Yes — that is, the panels are visible.
The parameter Windows is set to Yes — visibility is allowed — and the two panels are visible also in the 3D model. This is the moment when we create actions for them. The tabular area shows the actions created for the two panels.
If the parameter Windows is set to No, visibility for the two arched panels is turned off and they are not visible in the 2D drawing.
And also in the 3D model. In the tabular area, however, notice that the actions for the two panels have been preserved in the list — highlighted by cross marks.
Next time when the two windows become visible, EngView will apply the actions.
