Adding a viewpoint to a folding sequence

When designing a folding sequence, you can create a specific position in the 3D environment in which the 3D model will appear in the sequence. This means that each time you play the sequence, when it reaches the moment where you have placed this viewpoint, the 3D model will position itself in exact angle and place that you have fixed.

Adding a viewpoint is an action, which means it must be created inside a step. This can be an existing step or a separate step, specially created for the viewpoint (see below).

You can set one viewpoint per step.

To set a viewpoint in the folding sequence

  1. In the tabular area, select the step in which you want to set a viewpoint.
  2. In the 3D area, adjust an angle and place for the 3D model.
3D Model's Fixed Position

Each time the folding sequence reaches this point, you will see the model in this view, no matter what position the model was in before it.

  1. Do any of the following:
Create a Viewpoint

A Move Camera action appears in the step.

New Action in the Step

NOTE: You can insert a viewpoint in a separate step. In this case, create the step, position the 3D model as you want it to be, and then insert a viewpoint as shown in the procedure above.
