Setting the default printing job response

You can set the default EngView response to your clicking the printing job toolbar button.

When you drag the icon downward, the second button appears. You can set which button to be the default one.

In setting the default, you can choose whether you want EngView to:

• Show you a preview of the drawing before printing it.
• Print out the drawing directly, without showing a preview.

To set the default printing job button

1. Do one of the following:
   • On the Tools menu, click Preferences, and then click the General section.
   • Press CTRL + GO.

2. In the Default Print Button area, select an option that you want to be the default. You choose between:
   • Print Preview: The button will be the one for previewing the drawing before printing it out.
   • Print: The button will open a dialog box in which you will be setting up your printer.
3. Make a choice, and then close the dialog box.
4. Restart EngView.

Notice that now the printing job button is the one you selected in the Default Print Button area.

NOTE: The above procedure does not affect the utility of the two printing job commands — Print Preview and Print — on the File menu. They work just as their names say, no matter what default you have set for the toolbar button.
