Length statistics by style in 1up and layout drawings

When working in 1up and layout drawings, at each moment you can follow the total length, measured by style, of the objects in the drawing. In these two types of drawings, a Length column in the Styles tab displays the total length of the objects.

NOTE: The total length displayed in the Length column is identical with the values you see in the Statistics functionality (Length).

Measurement units

To set the measurement units in which the program displays the length values, on the Tools menu, click Statistics, and then, in Units, set the measurement units and precision that you want.

Updating the length statistics after changes to the drawing

Each time you make changes in the drawing, the value in the column clears and is empty (pictured):

Viewing updated length information

To view the updated length information in the Styles tab:

• In the list of styles, right-click, and then click Update Length Statistics.

• Click another drawing and then return to the one you started from.
• Clicking another tab in the tabular area and then returning to the Styles tab.
• Hide and then display the tabular area: Press CTRL+H twice.
