Using mathematical functions
You can use the functions described below in
all types of standard expressions in Package Designer. These include expressions
of:
- Attributes of geometric objects — for example, length of a line,
radius of a circle, including image attributes.
- Extend distance in Extend
Transformation.
- Step distance and rotation angle in Translate
Transformation.
- Step angle and rotation angle in Rotate
Transformation.
- Scale X, Scale Y, Step X, Step Y and Reference
in Scale Transformation.
- Dx and Dy in Align
Transformation.
- Dimensions.
- Parameters, including the expressions in the
Component Parameters dialog box.
- Cost Estimator parameters.
- Dx and Dy in aligning in layout drawings.
- Attributes of the modes for manual placement
of layout 1ups in layout drawings — for example angle, Dx, Dy.
- Dx and Dy in aligning in print drawings.
- Attributes of the modes for manual placement
of print parts in print drawings.
- Correction, gap, HCorr2 and VCorr2 in the layout
wizard.
- Sheet size definition.
- Some style properties, such as Cut Length of
the CutCrease style.
