Using mathematical functions

You can use the functions described below in all types of standard expressions in Package Designer. These include expressions of:

Attributes of geometric objects — for example, length of a line, radius of a circle, including image attributes.
Extend distance in Extend Transformation.
Step distance and rotation angle in Translate Transformation.
Step angle and rotation angle in Rotate Transformation.
Scale X, Scale Y, Step X, Step Y and Reference in Scale Transformation.
Dx and Dy in Align Transformation.
Dimensions.
Parameters, including the expressions in the Component Parameters dialog box.
Cost Estimator parameters.
Dx and Dy in aligning in layout drawings.
Attributes of the modes for manual placement of layout 1ups in layout drawings — for example angle, Dx, Dy.
Dx and Dy in aligning in print drawings.
Attributes of the modes for manual placement of print parts in print drawings.
Correction, gap, HCorr2 and VCorr2 in the layout wizard.
