Cerovski: Driving POS Display Excellence with EngView and IGEPA Plana

Successful software implementation requires more than technology alone. It requires a partner capable of supporting users throughout deployment, training, and day-to-day operations.  As EngView's long-standing regional partner, IGEPA Plana worked closely with Cerovski during the implementation process, helping the team establish efficient workflows and quickly adopt best practices for structural design.  The implementation was conducted in stages, starting with standard POS display projects before expanding to more advanced applications. Through dedicated training, consulting, and ongoing support, IGEPA Plana helped ensure a smooth transition and rapid user adoption.  "It was important for us not only to acquire the software but also to receive practical support during implementation and everyday use. The team at IGEPA Plana was readily available whenever we needed assistance, while EngView's technical support helped us resolve more advanced questions as they arose." - Sinisa Cerovski, Owner, Cerovksi Print This combination of local expertise from IGEPA Plana and advanced technology from EngView has enabled Cerovski to establish a more efficient and standardized approach to POS display design and production.  Igepa Plana Customer Q&A  The following insights were shared by Ivan Pozojević and Ian Bolfek from Cerovski's graphic prepress and structural design department, who work with EngView software on a daily basis.  What was the implementation and training process like?  We introduced EngView Package & Display Designer gradually, starting with the POS display structures we produce most frequently before moving on to more complex projects. With support from IGEPA Plana and EngView, our team quickly adopted the software and established standardized working methods across the department.  How does EngView fit into your existing production workflow?  EngView has become our central platform for structural design. It provides accurate production data that flows directly into prepress and manufacturing processes, reducing manual data transfer and helping ensure consistency throughout the workflow.  How valuable is the template library in everyday projects?  Very valuable. Most POS projects begin from a proven structural concept rather than a blank page. EngView's extensive library enables us to develop new display variants quickly while maintaining engineering reliability.  How does 3D visualization help with customer approvals?  It allows customers to immediately understand the final display structure and assembly process. This reduces misunderstandings, speeds up approvals, and minimizes costly revisions later in the project.  What was the biggest improvement after implementing EngView?  The most significant improvement has been the speed and reliability of creating multiple display variants. Automated drafting, 3D visualization, and parametric design capabilities have significantly reduced manual work while improving consistency.  Where are the biggest efficiency gains?  The most noticeable improvements are reduced design time, fewer pre-production corrections, improved repeatability, and faster project completion.  How does EngView help when deadlines are extremely tight? POS campaigns often involve last-minute changes. The ability to quickly modify structures, visualize concepts, and obtain approvals gives us valuable flexibility and helps us meet demanding delivery schedules.  About Cerovski  Cerovski is one of Croatia's leading providers of visual communications, printing solutions, POS materials, retail displays, and promotional products. EngView 2026.3: Built For All Production Workflows

We are proud to release version 2026.3 - a breakthrough update that redefines layout optimization for packaging production. By taking into account not only sheet size but also machine parameters and production workflows, this version delivers a new level of efficiency and precision. Alongside this, we are introducing intelligent AI assistants that transform the way you interact with the software. From finding the right template to getting instant answers, everything you need is now just a prompt away. Advanced Layout Optimizer We’ve completely reworked the Layout module to deliver smarter and more practical optimization for real production environments - especially for corrugated packaging. The new Layout Optimizer goes beyond sheet size. It takes into account the entire manufacturing workflow, including both converting equipment and corrugators. Manufacturers can define the specific production capabilities for each machine to optimize layouts based on real-world conditions. The new optimization workflow also improves corrugator efficiency by considering how the material is produced and cut into sheets. It minimizes waste at the corrugator by selecting the most suitable corrugating roll widths for each job. In addition, each one-up design now includes a suggested production workflow with a predefined layout, guiding the producer toward the most efficient manufacturing approach. This dual optimization ensures better material usage, improved machine efficiency, and more accurate production planning. Gluing Area Definition Defining gluing areas is now faster, easier, and more reliable. You can create and adjust gluing areas directly in both 2D and 3D. The system automatically applies the correct offset based on the panel size, while you simply select the panel to be glued. To prevent errors, the software automatically excludes invalid panel options, guiding you to the one correct choice every time. With the 3D folded view and the step-by-step folding sequence, it’s easy to verify that you’ve chosen the correct panel and the correct side - eliminating guesswork. Once defined, the gluing area is automatically replicated on the appropriate side of the panel, ensuring accuracy and saving time. Library Visibility Finding the right design is now faster and more focused. You can choose which standards to display in the library directly from Preferences, allowing you to filter designs based on the material you are working with. This reduces clutter and helps you quickly access only the most relevant templates. The same applies to the components library, providing a cleaner, more efficient workspace tailored to your needs. AI Assistance Meet your new smart assistants for faster and easier work. The AI Library Assistant helps you quickly find the best standard for your project. Simply ask what you need, and the system will provide clear, relevant answers - no need to search documentation or contact support. Trained with extensive knowledge of packaging design and EngView software, these AI tools help you complete tasks faster, make better decisions, and work more efficiently. The new version connects design with real production workflows, improving efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making across the entire process.Download Version 2026.3 for both macOS and Windows here.
