Using custom properties in production: Zund Cut Center

You can use material custom properties in outputs to other software such as Zund Cut Center (ZCC). Besides the material thickness, the Zund Cut Center also requires material's GUID and name. GUIDs are specific for ZCC, which is why we can look at them as custom properties. See an example about how to use GUIDs and names.

Additionally, each tool on the ZUND machine has its CuttingMode property. By default, it is standard for all tools (Draw, Crease, Thru-Cut, V-Cut, and others) in the ncs file. You can customize the CuttingMode property for the respective tools by using a material custom property. This custom property can have values such as speed, standard, quality. See an example of how to use this property.

NOTE: If your installation was executed clean, EngView comes with three properties related to ZUND machines. If you choose to activate a ZUND machine for your work, these properties will become visible (see the next picture).
