This section describes the procedures for how to work with external parts and objects.
External parts are 3D models of drawings created in EngView that are then inserted in the 3D model of another drawing.
External objects are 3D objects created with software other than EngView. In EngView projects, external objects are used as placeholders — they substitute the real-life objects that a piece of packaging wraps. The program uses external objects created in the OBJ and STL file formats.
