Clip path conflicts appear in layout drawings and are the result
of the overlapping of the bleeds' border areas of the individual layout
1ups. These conflicts are resolved in the layout drawing. You enter
the conflict-resolution mode by clicking ClipPath Conflict Resolution
on the Layout toolbar and then choosing a technique
in the contextual edit bar that appears.
By applying a conflict resolution method, you modify the overlapping applied bleed contours and bringing them to a state in which the final bleed contour satisfies the requirements of correct application of bleed on the layout. Very often one bleed zone is reduced while its opposite is expanded.
Choosing a conflict resolution method can vary depending on the project at hand and how the layout is arrayed. That is why any single conflict resolution approach is nothing but a suggestion.
