Students at the University of Banja Luka  have been working on eco-friendly packaging solutions for Barilla and Mulino Bianco as part of their Graphic Engineering program. Under the guidance of Associate Professor Mladen Stancic, PhD, the students tackled real packaging challenges for these well-known brands. 

The project shows how students can work on real-world design problems while learning. They needed to create packaging that works well, looks good, and is environmentally friendly - which isn't easy to balance. 

EngView Systems provided the CAD/CAM software that helped make this project possible. Having access to professional design tools allowed the students to create and test their ideas properly. 

Professor Stancic's mentorship proved crucial in guiding students through the complex process of sustainable packaging design, where every material choice and structural decision impacts both product protection and environmental footprint. The project outcomes demonstrate how proper academic guidance combined with cutting-edge design tools can produce solutions that meet both commercial viability and ecological responsibility standards.
